Eric Mills, traffic director, is responsible for designing scalable solutions to assist clients in trafficking media assets across their digital signage networks.
With the client’s specific needs in mind, Eric works to build media players and design their networks while defining a production schedule that results in the desired media playing at the proper location and time.
Prior to joining Respario, Eric was the Traffic Manager for indoorDIRECT, a digital signage company that operated networks for Quick Service Restaurants such as Taco Bell, Wendy’s and KFC. Before that Eric worked as a sports content creator and curator for Broadcast.com, the pioneering webcasting company acquired by Yahoo! in 1999.
Eric also worked as a network manager for Fox Sports Direct, the satellite broadcasting unit of Fox Sports. There he worked closely with the major sports leagues and cable affiliates to facilitate nationwide delivery and distribution of programming. He also helped facilitate Fox Sports’ programming conversion from analog to digital broadcasting, and helped launch new programs such as NFL Sunday Ticket.
During the summer, Eric can often be found at Globe Life Park, where he operates the tracking software at Texas Rangers games for Major League Baseball. The data he collects helps to feed graphic generation for broadcast television and game-day applications.
